Sweet Little Poison

Medicine Melancholy's usual outfit. It features a black frilled shirt and a long red skirt.

Rabbit-Eared Soldier

A mock military uniform that Nitori got for Medicine. There were some crossed wires and it ended up looking like a nurse uniform.

White Lily of the Nameless Hill

Medicine's Fantasy Rebirth outfit. It was fashioned at Kourindou based on information in the journal.

Temperament: Photochemical Smog

Photochemical Smog (a Touhou LW original) refers to a phenomenon that occurs when UV light from the sun reacts with pollutants in the air, creating a health hazard. This temperament causes harm to those surrounding it just by existing, which is just like Medicine, even if it is not her intention. Medicine is endowed with Wood Phase, from her kind desire to help her friends, and Sun Essence, as she continuously demands for rights for dolls, acting as a doll mediator. The strong and kind Wood Phase resists Water Phase, because water nourishes wood, but it is weak to Metal Phase, because metal carves wood. The alluring and arrogant Sun Essence resists the diverse and uncooperative Star Essence, but it is weak to the cooperative and indecisive Moon Essence.

Ability: Capable of manipulating poison

This ability is practically Medicine's identity, since she is a poison doll. She can manipulate poison freely, and not just lily-of-the-valley poison. From plant poison to animal venom to toxic drugs, she can control any and all poison and use it to make humans go mad. She is still young as a youkai, so she uses her powers rather indiscriminately, but she has not used them for any truly nefarious purposes yet. Since Eirin is knowledgeable about poison and medicine, she is a good match for Medicine's ability. Apparently, Medicine's ability to move as a doll is also an effect of the poison.

Attacks

Neurotoxicity

Medicine Melancholy's Spread Shot (a Touhou LW original). Medicine created the shot using knowledge from Eirin. While Medicine is not so naive as to hate every human she sees anymore, if her target is human, she might put a little more poison than usual into her shots...

Black Bile

Medicine Melancholy's Focus Shot (a Touhou LW original). An excess of black bile is said to cause melancholy, and this bullet hell attack shoots it out liberally in sprays of magic poison. Medicine learned this from Eirin as well.

Poison Sign: Poison Breath

Medicine Melancholy's Spell Card. She shoots out a barrage of poisonous breath and light. Even the strongest poison has no effect on a doll, so Medicine can continue to shoot out poisonous fog without any danger to herself.

Confusion: Into Delirium

Medicine Melancholy's Spell Card. She confuses her targets with poison that has strange effects on the mind. Her targets end up hurting themselves and their allies, so all Medicine has to do is watch as her enemies do all her work for her.

Return of Happiness

Medicine Melancholy's Last Word (a Touhou LW original). She recreates the field of lilies of the valley from Nameless Hill and then hurls out poison with the force of an avalanche in this powerful attack. The idea for the Spell Card came from an accident that occurred when Medicine was taking a stroll on Nameless Hill. The Flower Master who also witnessed the accident has also given the attack her stamp of approval.
