Her ability (along with the abilities of common youkai) is regarded as not all that dangerous. It seems that amanojaku as a species are not seen as a substantial threat. It is unknown how much of a role her ability played in the incident she instigated. However, if it was her ability that let the Miracle Mallet's magic cause an uprising of the weakest youkai and tools, then perhaps her ability is powerful and versatile as long as she has enough magic to fuel it. Maybe her ability works so well with the magic of the Miracle Mallet because the mallet is an oni tool that the inchlings now treasure after they exterminated the oni who held it. Amanojaku are a type of youkai famous for their deep connection to Bishamonten. Statues of Bishamonten often portray him stepping on an amanojaku or with an amanojaku oni-faced belt. Amanojaku are thought to derive from Ama no Sagume, but it has also been theorized that they come from Hebo, a destructive Chinese god of water. Hebo is also considered to be the progenitor of kappa.
