Mikazuki (a Touhou LW original) refers to the moon on the third night of the lunar calendar, as well as the phase of the new moon before it waxes half full. The crescent moon is an apt temperament for Yorihime's astute and dignified personality. Yorihime is endowed with Wood Phase, with her flexible spiritual nature that allows her to house various gods, and Moon Essence, which is calm and collected. The strong and kind Wood Phase resists Water Phase, because water nourishes wood, but it is weak to Metal Phase, because metal carves wood. The cooperative and indecisive Moon Essence resists the alluring and arrogant Sun Essence, but it is weak to the diverse and uncooperative Star Essence.
Watatsuki no Yorihime's ability allows her to summon divine spirits and house them within her body. Considering the fact that she summoned the ruler of the Yaoyorozu no Kami, Amaterasu, the goddess of the sun, there may not be any gods that she cannot summon. However, it is unknown what would happen if she tried to summon Kanako in Gensokyo, her superior Lord Tsukuyomi, or Hecatia Lapislazuli. It is also unknown whether she can summon just a portion of their power or not. Regardless, her ability is undeniably powerful. According to Yorihime herself, the number of different Yaoyorozu no Kami she can summon is eight million. (Yaoyorozu means both eight million and countless in Japanese.)
Watatsuki no Yorihime's Spread Shot (a Touhou LW original). She slashes out with a katana imbued with godly thunder. The power borrowed from a certain god of war is toned down by a considerable amount, so she can participate in battles of bullets under the same rules as everyone else.
Watatsuki no Yorihime's Focus Shot (a Touhou LW original). This attack pierces the target with countless blades. This power is borrowed from a different god of war and is also toned down of course.
Watatsuki no Yorihime's Spell Card (a Touhou LW original). This ultimate purging attack is able to eradicate even a god's sins. It is unknown which specific god's power she borrows for this attack, but it is undoubtedly toned down.
Watatsuki no Yorihime's Spell Card (a Touhou LW original). She summons different gods of war one after the other and attacks with each in turn. Hardly anyone would be able to defend against this attack if it was unleashed in a normal battle. It has been reduced to an appropriate strength by being made into a Spell Card.
Watatsuki no Yorihime's Last Word (a Touhou LW original). This Spell Card summons a certain serpent god, known as both an infamous monster and an awe-inspiring ancient deity. You get eight heads for the price of one summon, which makes it all the more powerful.
A ship ridden by gods and also a god in and of itself. It is fast and powerful, kind of like a spaceship.
Power up by borrowing the god of blacksmiths' strength. This god doesn't have any connection with Kogasa... probably.
A god's curse was placed on this arrow so that it would pierce the chest of one with evil in their heart. This myth may be connected to a certain amanojaku.
