Sorrow's Exit

Taiki no Kawa (a Touhou LW original) refers to great streams of air that carry water vapor. They mostly originate in the skies above tropical seas. It's the temperament of Okina Matara, the traveler who sought and eventually created paradise. Shooting stars inevitably come to a halt. Okina is only endowed with star temperament (strong against Moon Essence but weak to Sun Essence).
The ability of Okina Matara, who has almost reached the end (a Touhou LW original). Okina completely lost this ability due to a Lost Word. She is currently regaining it little by little, though not through restoring or replicating her old ability, but with a newly constructed original ability that formed a core to build upon. She has continued to travel across worlds to try and end the Lost Word Incident. Okina Matara is a secret god and a great sage who was involved in Gensokyo's founding. She and her two servants, Teireita and Nishita, come together to form one god. Okina's life prior to Gensokyo's founding is rife with mysteries, with the discovery of reliable history documents being long-awaited. However, according to somewhat untrustworthy documents, this world's Okina arrived to Gensokyo after an extremely long journey. There is no definitive source that describes in detail the formation of Gensokyo and the origins of those who reside there. For that reason, it's impossible to have a succinct discussion about those things. Or, to put it another way, the ambiguous and uncertain nature of those things makes it possible to talk endlessly about them. And when it comes to gods, or specifically, a secret god with multiple aspects of divinity and great authority, it's possible to discuss multiple possibilities at once using the uncertainty principle. This is like the reverse of Toyosatomimi no Miko's ability, which lets her listen to multiple discussions at once. However, the price of discussing so many possibilities would be that an unimaginable number of patterns would be produced. Said patterns would be the combination of all viable possibilities and would soon expand to form a giant structure that could well be called the ruins of all the world's memories. There's no guarantee that even the Land of the Back Door, the back garden of knowledge and fantasy, could contain such a structure. All things lost and forgotten end up in Gensokyo. Gensokyo is thus the final paradise and is exactly what Okina sought. However, an investigation into Gensokyo's existence shows that everything will someday arrive there since everything will one day inevitably be forgotten. So... is that the paradise that Okina envisioned? An endless wasteland where nothing but records and ruins remain. "I have no intention of becoming a grave keeper..." It was definitely the land they had been seeking, and it was unmistakably identical to where they'd started. Okina called out to her two wheels, Teireita and Nishita, "Let's go." They'd keep going, no matter how long it took. Ofan is the name of Okina's mobile throne, and its appearance is that of the Land of the Back Door reversed. Okina not only watches over all of Gensokyo from behind the scenes but on her long journey to Japan, also got to see the wider world. But she didn't get a two-dimensional snapshot of things like a human adventurer or explorer might. As a god, she accumulated awareness in a dimension beyond that of humans. She saw the extraordinarily complex history of human migration and the lineage of cultures.
The Spread Shot of Okina Matara, who has almost reached the end (a Touhou LW original). She recalls the burial of the prince she formerly served. Okina came from across the sea and used her vast knowledge to assist the government and educate the wise prince. She laid the groundwork for many important aspects of Japanese culture, and her influence can still be felt strongly today. All this was recorded as one possible version of events, but since she's a secret god, the other possibilities also deserve consideration.
The Focus Shot of Okina Matara, who has almost reached the end (a Touhou LW original). She recalls a myth about Japan's founding, to which she contributed. Okina traveled far and wide with her tiny helper and laid the groundwork for Japan's founding. Since gods have bunrei and are the subject of syncretism, it might be more accurate to say that this groundwork was laid not by Okina, but by a god she syncretized with. All this was recorded as one possible version of events, but since she's a secret god, the other possibilities also deserve consideration.
A Spell Card of Okina Matara, who has almost reached the end (a Touhou LW original). An attack from the past that planted seeds for the future. It's actually quite common for gods to assume a human form and get involved with the goings-on of the world. However, there is currently no evidence that Okina did anything of the sort under the name Hata no Kawakatsu. Hata no Kawakatsu was the leader of a special group known as mibube, which served the prince. She was also a prominent figure in rice cultivation and sericulture (the rearing of silkworms for silk production). Furthermore, she's known as the creator of Noh, which forms the foundation of all the performing arts in Japan. Which begs the question, why does Cirno know the name Hata no Kawakatsu?
A Spell Card of Okina Matara, who has almost reached the end (a Touhou LW original). A secret attack that was concealed. There are many sages in Gensokyo, and Okina Matara is one of them. She's as mysterious and suspicious as Yukari Yakumo and has just as many secrets as Kasen Ibaraki. The sages don't necessarily seem to work together, but equally, they don't seem to antagonize each other without cause. With all their collective wisdom, the sages are sure to devise the most optimal plans when they hold council.
The Last Word of Okina Matara, who has almost reached the end (a Touhou LW original). An attack based on a loss that repeatedly gives hope. "How many times has it been now? It doesn't matter... I'll never stop searching." Okina embarked on a journey across the endless wastelands and beyond foreign borders to find the distant promised land. The two wheel tracks in her wake were proof that Teireita and Nishita walked alongside each other. Knowing that alone seems more than satisfactory, but for Okina, it wasn't enough. She resolved to question Yukari Yakumo when she got the chance.
In Sanskrit, Matara means mother. The Earth is often spoken of as a mother, and Kun of the Eight Trigrams represents both mother and earth.
The Big Dipper star constellation is a dragon that soars through the Heavens, which it will one day rule after consuming the immobile stars.
The god of Noh is not suited to battle or work. She entertained those who lived on the frontiers.
