Junko is a sagacious spirit, and she recently received an invitation from Seiga to join the staff at her social club, Old Desire. The true nature of their relationship is a total mystery. Possessing the ability to purify anything, Junko once attacked the Lunar Capital, though a truce was eventually reached. Perhaps she believes enjoying her time at the social club even more than the Lunarians is simultaneously a form of revenge and aggression...
Sagume Kishin is a Lunarian who lives in the Lunar Capital, where she's an important figure. Her ability makes it so her words reverse situations, so she takes great care whenever she speaks. She's currently working at the social club as Eirin's representative. However, she was genuinely shocked to find that Junko and Clownpiece, who once posed a threat to the Lunar Capital, were also there. After debating whether to say something about the matter, she opted to remain silent.
Clownpiece was at Old Desire simply to have fun and couldn't care less about whatever was going on between Sagume and Junko. It seems the social club atmosphere had started to affect her as she was acting more grown-up than usual.
"He... Hehehe! Lady Junko and the Moon person look great, but I look the most grown-up today!" said Clownpiece as she pointed her chin up and stood on her tiptoes, trying (extremely hard) to make herself look taller.
Citrus Chronicles
If you climb the stairs of Old Desire, you'll find a balcony from which you can look down and see the entire catwalk. On this day, if you were to sit on the balcony seats with a drink in hand and gaze down to the first floor, you'd see a Lunar Sage, a sagacious spirit, and a Hell fairy. The three looked simply stunning, but there was an indescribable tension in the air. Just like a steadily advancing lunar eclipse, their glares intensified. It was as if a battle was being fought below the water's surface, invisible to all those on dry land.
It was time for Old Desire's best outfit contest. Countless spotlights shone down on Junko, Sagume, and Clownpiece, their skin glowing like the surface of the Moon as alluring aromas wafted from their glasses. They strutted down the catwalk, showing off their outfits. In an instant, the social club was filled with thunderous clapping and cheers of adulation. The trio never made eye contact, but strangely, they'd started to walk in sync.
"I can't help but think all they really want is to be friends..."
The tension between them wouldn't fade for some time yet, but Satori could already see what was to come.
