Fairies are an embodiment of Mother Nature. They are life-force personified, and there are countless fairies present everywhere. As long as nature exists, fairies exist. They don't usually pose a threat to humans as they're generally weak and lack intelligence. Thus, they can neither cause incidents nor resolve them.
However, relatively stronger Greater Fairies... might be somewhat different from ordinary fairies.
Fairies, especially Greater Fairies, appear to embody different life forces depending on their preferences, such as ice, spring, sunlight, moonlight, starlight, and butterflies. However, there are many fairies whose nature cannot be identified at first glance.
Fairies also exist in places considered to be worlds of the dead such as the Netherworld, the Underworld, and Hell. They do not usually exist on the moon, but it has been found that they can also function on the moon if taken there when certain special conditions are met.
Most fairies spend their days having fun. Humans cannot escape essential societal norms such as cooperating and sharing responsibilities. Fairies, however, are bound by no such norms. They are nature personified, which is contrary to the nature of humans.
They are the kind of beings who come flying to play with P items in hand at the first sign of something interesting going on. This is why they are seen in such large numbers whenever an incident occurs. Even if fairies get obliterated in battles of bullets, a little bit of time is all they need to recover and get back to playing.
The existence of fairies epitomizes the very essence of nature. This indicates the likelihood that they are beings of extremely pure temperament. There is a theory that spirits are the primordial form of fairies. This probably came from the fact that spirits are simply a cluster of temperaments.
Furthermore, phantoms, considered to be temperament released after death, are a form of existence that might closely resemble fairies. Additionally, the relationship between desire spirits and divine spirits makes it seem like fairies could be the primitive form of natural gods. But whether this is true or not remains a mystery...
"Let's try going that way this time!"
"Um, but according to the map..."
"Oh! I see something!"
Do you hear fairies?
Fairies do not cooperate.
Fairies do not pose a great threat.
Fairies do not accomplish great things.
Is that true?
