Overly Lunatic

Story
"I can't remember if Master told me to go wild or hold back. Meh, whatever. I'm sure it'll be fine! Now then... It's LUNATIC TIME!" Neither the goddess of Hell nor the sagacious spirit instructed Clownpiece to give anything but her all, but perhaps they would have reconsidered had they realized how powerful she'd become. It soon became clear that this incident wasn't proceeding as intended when a greater lunacy than the Moon itself assaulted the Lunar Capital.

Prolonged Incidents are a type of meta-incident where events last much longer than they should have. The means to resolve and undo these incidents has been lost.

The invasion of the Lunar Capital has been prolonged. It started out with the Lunar Capital invading Gensokyo, but the stage and scope shifted with each new development, creating a layered rhapsody of schemes and vendettas. According to reliable historical sources, during the invasion of the Lunar Capital, the capital's forces fled before a horde of powered-up fairies and a vengeful sagacious spirit with the terrifying ability to purify anything. However, everything was resolved thanks to the Brain of the Moon's clever plan to send humans up to the Moon. Clownpiece was the leader of the powered-up Hell fairies, and while she was by no means a slouch in battle, her main strength lay in how she naturally acted as a counter to the Lunarians. At least, that was how it was meant to be...

EX Beings are beings capable of causing Prolonged Incidents, and the specific set of circumstances present in a world that facilitate the manifestation of EX Beings is called the EX Factor. EX beings and an EX Factor are always present somewhere in parallel worlds that have experienced or are experiencing a Prolonged Incident. The EX is short for extended. The EX Factor is partly named as such because it generates facts, a phenomenon that seems to oppose the effects of the Lost Word Incident.

Clownpiece is a Hell fairy. The fact that fairies exist in Hell indicates that life also exists there. Life and death are two sides of the same coin―one cannot exist without the other. You may think that the immortal people of Hourai are an exception to this, but since they cannot die, they do not truly live. Their existence is the antithesis of life. Fairies also live on the outskirts of the Lunar Capital, albeit in very small numbers. This shows that the Lunarians aren't truly immortal and that there are still small pockets of impurities in the Lunar Capital, even though it's almost perfectly quarantined from outside influences. However, fairies only really became a threat to the Lunar Capital when they were purified. Clownpiece is one the most gifted Hell fairies, so when she got purified, she became much stronger than your average fairy. She could even give youkai and divine spirits a run for their money. Also, the thing about fairies is that they're free spirits who are notoriously hard to control... It makes you wonder how much longer this powered-up Clownpiece will continue to obey her master and the sagacious spirit.
