Scarlet Student President

Story
This is a story from one of the worlds with a Hakurei Shrine Academy... Remilia Scarlet may seem young, but she's actually her school's charismatic student president. She's known as the Scarlet Student President and often struts through the corridors clad in her scarlet uniform. I must say, I was rather surprised to receive a message from her asking me to conduct an interview, but with this opportunity, I plan to ask her all about the upcoming school festival.

Stood behind Remilia was Sakuya Izayoi, another member of the student council. From the miscellaneous to the intricate, she completes all of her tasks perfectly and provides flawless support to Remilia. Everything she does is to ensure the work of her president-slash-master goes uninhibited. Sakuya's tasks are certainly not easy, but she can always be seen smiling softly. Sakuya stood quietly beside the curtains. Perhaps she did so to guard Remilia from potential foes, or maybe it was simply to block out the sunlight. Either way, she can be described as someone who works diligently in the shadow of the student council president.

Then there's me, Hieda no Akyuu. But to be honest, writing about myself is kinda embarrassing. Today, I'll be interviewing the Scarlet Student President, as per her request. As a student of Hakurei Shrine Academy, I never thought I'd get this opportunity. I intend to take meticulous notes and use them to publish a school newspaper. As the academy's record keeper, I'm planning to give it my all and use my ability to remember everything to create a complete record of my interview. ...Hang on, did I really need to write this section?

Parallel Prayers ~A Spring Chronicle~ "The school festival isn't far off now. Can you tell me your thoughts in the run-up to the event?" "Of course." Sat comfortably on the sofa opposite me, Remilia began to speak with what I can only describe as exaggerated hand motions and gestures. "All students are currently working proactively to prepare for next month's festival." "I heard that your school's festival is on the same day as Hakurei Shrine Academy's. It seems like fate to me." "Don't worry, we're planning a whole host of exhibitions and activities to ensure ours is the best school festival around!" It was clear from the way she spoke that Remilia was extremely confident. Throughout the interview, she joked and laughed, but at one point declared, "We won't be outdone by Hakurei Shrine Academy."

"I heard student council members will be chatting with prospective students and giving them tours of the school." "Yes, it'll be a busy day, but I'm so grateful for everyone's enthusiasm. That includes you, of course, Sakuya," she said as she turned to face her with a smile. "Thank you," she replied while smiling back. Turning back toward me, Remilia said, "I got a little carried away earlier talking about beating the other schools, but that's not really what the festival is about. Just like we only get to live each day once, people will only have one chance to experience our school festival. Which is why the true winners will be everyone who enjoys it!" She came across as somewhat childish at times, but overall, she seemed to be very open-minded. Perhaps that's why so many choose to follow her. [Excerpt taken from Hieda no Akyuu's interview notes.]
