Subterranean Souvenirs

Story
Kisume works at the hot springs in Former Hell. Her uniform features a navy blue kimono jacket that's easy to move about in and a polka dot bandana. At work, she switches out her wooden tub for a plastic one.

Utsuho Reiuji, the Hell raven fused with Yatagarasu, spends her days off relaxing at the hot springs. Her slightly frayed oversized shirt and the soft, fluffy cover on her right arm look super comfy. However, her arm can still get really hot, indicating she can still use her nuclear fusion powers.

Kisume had a rare day off work, so she went shopping with Okuu at one of her usual haunts―the back alleys of the Underworld city. She knew the place like the back of her hand, but on this occasion, she stumbled across a shady souvenir shop she'd never seen before. Okuu looked around excitedly as Kisume began to timidly inspect the goods on display. Apart from all the in-your-face sale signs, the first thing that caught her attention was the big basket full of hot-spring-related items. Seeing a cheap bucket, she picked it up only to find that it didn't have a bottom, making it completely useless. Next, she spotted a bar of soap made from the Hell of Blood Pools' blood. "Who would want such a thing?" she thought to herself.

Hot Spring Days: Work Hard, Play Hard! Kisume was determined to buy something since she didn't want her day off work to go to waste, but all the strange items on sale had really thrown her for a loop. Okuu, on the other hand, had already shifted her attention to the food stand next door selling hot spring eggs. Just when she was about to give up, Kisume spotted a small stack of hand towels in the corner of the basket. She unfolded one, revealing a simple but cute floral design. Unable to believe the cheap price tag, she questioned the girl behind the counter, who informed her that they were on sale because it was found that the edges were slightly frayed during the last stocktake.

"Are you gonna buy those?" Okuu asked as she returned carrying a basket full of hot spring eggs. "Y-Yeah, I think so. They look pretty cute," replied Kisume. After a brief moment of indecision, she took two towels up to the counter and asked the clerk to wrap them separately. Okuu tilted her head. "Are you giving them to someone?" "Yep. They're for Medicine and Hina. They're visiting soon," Kisume answered with a big smile. "I hope they like them," she thought as she placed the two hand-wrapped gifts in her bucket.
