Toyosatomimi no Miko is the mistress of the Divine Spirit Mausoleum. She's a hermit, a saint, and a superhuman. No matter how you slice it, she's brimming with charisma.
Remilia Scarlet is a vampire and the mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Put simply, she's charisma personified.
Horned owls are a type of owl whose ear tufts look like horns. These birds of prey are found in the Strigidae family of the Strigiformes order within the Aves class. They are related to Eurasian scops owls, who are known for their distinct hoot. Long ago in Japan, horned owls were called "tsuku," and are used to represent winter in haiku.
Bats are animals capable of bird-like flight found in the Chiroptera order of the Mammalia class. Many think of them as blood-sucking creatures, but the majority of them survive on a diet of fruits or insects. In the West, demons are often shown to have bat wings. Long ago in Japan, bats were called "kawahori," and are used to represent summer in haiku.
Yukari Yakumo and the others believe parallel worlds to be an important factor in the Lost Word Incident. But that theory is built largely on assumptions and predictions, so it must be taken with a grain of salt. Other thinkers have proposed similar or identical concepts: expanded dreams, unified subconsciousness, universal reincarnation, the multidimensional neural network, the multiverse, hyper virtual reality, Otherworld clusters, possible worlds... All of which draw broadly the same conclusions as Yukari Yakumo's parallel worlds theory.
Beyond this world's flat horizon, there is a place untroubled by the Lost Word incident. And on this night, the horned owl and the bat have surely taken to its moonlit skies once more. They pray for their charisma to return and stay with them.
