Time to Party!

Story
Toyosatomimi no Miko is a resurrected hermit and the mistress of the Divine Spirit Mausoleum. She was once known as Prince Shoutoku, a legendary ruler from long ago. Mononobe no Futo is one of Toyosatomimi no Miko's close advisors. She was once a girl of a powerful clan, but now she is a shikaisen. Soga no Tojiko is Toyosatomimi no Miko's other close advisor. She was once a girl of a powerful clan, but now she is a ghost.

The Divine Spirit Mausoleum, situated deep underground below Myouren Temple, is the place where Toyosatomi no Miko and her advisors awaited their resurrection. Byakuren Hijiri built Myouren Temple at this spot because Nazrin's search revealed a presence that should remain sealed. Nowadays, the facility within Miko's senkai is called the Divine Spirit Mausoleum, and the old building has been forgotten. Apparently, it has a good reputation among humans, and followers of Taoism train there every day.

Hermits are transcendental beings who are well-versed in Tao teachings, use senjutsu, and do not age. There are many ways a human can become a hermit, but none of them are easy. Even becoming a shikaisen, the lowest class of hermit, is difficult. Hermits feature in many myths and legends, where they are shown to live in their own senkai or senkyou―worlds separate from the one where normal humans live. There is even a Chinese story that features a youkai hermit.

The powerful clans that ruled rural regions of ancient Japan through wealth and military might are called gouzoku. Gouzoku also refers to the leaders of these clans. Regional officials dispatched by the central government sometimes become gouzoku, and gouzoku served as regional government officials. There was a time in Japan's history when the central government took great pains trying to control the gouzoku.
