The usual outfit of Takane from the world with an open market. The kappa are her rivals, but they share a lot in common.

I'm Takane Yamashiro, a yamawaro. If you wanna buy ACs, you're a treasured customer. So, which one would you like?
Introduction
Oh, you're a human kid, after all. What're you doing wandering around here? This cliff's a yamawaro hideout. It's dangerous. What? You wanna buy Ability Cards for battles? Ah, you're a customer! Then that's different! Welcome to my yamawaro stall! I'm Takane Yamashiro. I sell rare ACs. What kinda deck are you looking to build? ...Hmm, could I interest you in these packs I put together? They've got rare cards inside that work well in aggro and combo decks. I haven't sold many yet, so this is your chance to establish a new meta! But that's not to say your friends might not already have them.
Purple Heart
Have you decided on an AC? Or are you still thinking?
Blue Heart
What? ACs are only a passing fad?!
Green Heart
I see. So the buying and selling of ACs is an incident. They've been selling well for so long that I didn't realize... Guess that explains why the humans were battling.
Orange Heart
So, the Rainbow Dragon Cave's dragon gems are a type of Izanagi Object, the mine is run by an oomukade, a Great Tengu makes the cards, and the god of marketplaces is involved... I see. It seems so obvious now that you say it.
Pink Heart
Even if that god and the Great Tengu are the ones putting ACs on the market, they belong to us now. That's how the free market works. No one can take this freedom from us, not even the creators!
Spring
Spring is all about cherry blossoms, and the best place to see 'em is at Hakurei Shrine, but Moriya Shrine isn't bad, either. They might still have some yashouma left over from the Parinirvana Day celebrations. I saw Sanae filling her face with them earlier.
It still amazes me that ACs are items that copy abilities. But I guess that explains why there are so many different kinds. Bet I can make a killing off collectors!
Enhancement
Great, my deck's gotten stronger. Now I can win for sure!
Return
Let's take a break while I replenish my stocks. You know what I could really go for right now? Eggplants!
Home 1
There's not much difference between yamawaro and kappa. We're like cousins. But we're also rivals.
Home 2
When a kappa walks on land, they become a yamawaro, and when a yamawaro enters a river, they become a kappa. But like slimy amphibians, the kappa hardly ever leave their river!
Home 3
The kappa need our forest technology because we supply them with the parts they need. We've also developed a highly advanced economy. Yep, it's thanks to us that money exists.
Reaction 1
Oh, are you tired? Here, sleep on my lap.
Reaction 2
I'm a youkai, but she didn't think I might be tricking her... Human kids are so interesting.
Reaction 3
*pats head* Good, she's sleeping peacefully.
Task
You're doing tasks? Reading, writing, and knowing how to use an abacus are all good skills to have!
Task Complete
Oh, you finished your task. Impressive. C'mere. *pats head*
Mail
Letters are information. You gotta keep 'em safe.
Errand Finished
Someone's back. I wonder if they snagged any good deals.
Start of Battle
You can't really expect me to just give 'em away. Not when there's still money to be made!
Mid-Wave
If you're just here to window shop, then leave.
Victory
What? You wanna buy ACs? You should've said that at the start.
Defeat
You're too strong...! But too bad. I'm not giving you any ACs!
Spellcard 1 Chant 1
So, you sniffed out my ACs, did you?
I knew it. No one can stop this AC craze.
Spellcard 1 Chant 2
But these cards are too much for you to
handle. Now, clear off my mountain!

Spellcard 2 Chant 1
Too bad. ACs can't be stolen by force. If you
want 'em, you gotta ask nicely and pay up.
Spellcard 2 Chant 2
But it's only one card per customer.
Break that rule at your own peril.

store abilities, temperaments, and memories.

that make me unbeatable?!

Character Information
Temperament: Rikukaze
Rikukaze (a Touhou LW original) refers to a cool wind that blows at night from the land toward the warmer sea. This is an apt temperament for Takane, who saw a chance to make it big in some mysterious cards. Takane is endowed with the temperament of a forest-dwelling youkai (Wood Phase), business temperament (Moon Essence), and anti-kappa temperament (Water Phase).
The strong and kind Wood Phase resists Water Phase, because water nourishes wood, but it is weak to Metal Phase, because metal carves wood.
The cooperative and indecisive Moon Essence resists the alluring and arrogant Sun Essence, but it is weak to the diverse and uncooperative Star Essence.
The flexible and patient Water Phase resists Metal Phase, because metal collects water, but it is weak to Earth Phase, because earth directs water.
The combination of Wood Phase and Water Phase cancels out any resistance or weakness to Metal Phase.
Ability/Backstory: Capable of manipulating forest qi
The ability of Takane Yamashiro from the world with an open market (a Touhou LW original). There are no noticeable differences between this ability and that of other Takanes.
The 18th Prolonged Incident is a prolonged version of the disturbance caused by the circulation of Ability Cards, where the true nature of the cards and the intentions of their creators remained a mystery. This incident was predominantly directed by the god of the marketplace, encouraging humans and youkai to collect, trade, and produce Ability Cards. But did they do this of their own volition, or were they all pawns of the invisible hand?
All Takane did during this incident was buy and sell Ability Cards. She was among the first to realize that even if she lost a battle of bullets, her cards couldn't be taken by force. She didn't know what kind of magic was at play, but she saw the potential. Gensokyo is full of those who try to strong-arm others, and while the yamawaro may possess a rich culture and valuable technology, there are lots of youkai stronger than them. However, Takane saw that if they could cleverly leverage the magic of the Ability Cards, they could dominate Gensokyo with their economic power. The more obsessed she became with the Ability Cards, the more she thought about the logical next step. This is Takane's genius and what sets her apart as a business-savvy youkai. She knew she'd make a killing.
Speaking of money, how long has money been used in Gensokyo? Since even youkai have an economy, it stands to reason that money and all the culture surrounding it must also exist in Gensokyo. Hakurei Shrine has an offering box, after all. Further investigation into the yamawaro might provide a more definitive answer.
Attacks
Monkey Business
The Spread Shot of Takane Yamashiro from the world with an open market (a Touhou LW original). She attacks with her youkai business acumen.
Just like everyone else involved with the incident, Takane got her hands on some Ability Cards and started trading them. As a business-savvy youkai, they were immediately on her radar, and she wasn't going to let such a lucrative opportunity pass her by. Besides, everyone was doing it, including many youkai that the shrine maiden and the other humans didn't encounter. That's why Takane thought it was unfair that they only attacked her.

Yamawaro are like close cousins to the kappa, with some claiming they're the same species that changes form depending on where they live. That's why they share so many traits. They both like technology and business, and are both environmentally conscious. Yamawaro probably love eating cucumbers, too. Same with kappa and eggplants.

Takane didn't know where the Ability Cards came from, but that didn't stop her from buying and selling them. Like with all facets of business, those who fear taking risks fall behind. Besides, she could always run away if things got dicey.

The Last Word of Takane Yamashiro from the world with an open market (a Touhou LW original). She makes the most of her own AC in this attack.
Slowly, steadily, Takane's ambitions grew. Takane is known as one of the most well-spoken yamawaro, but she couldn't help but feel that she was also the smartest. She wanted to buy and sell Ability Cards freely, unshackled from all the rules, conventions, and regulations. She wanted to do things her way. As she envisioned what that might look like, she knew there would be one youkai, one kappa, above all others, who would try to stop her. But she'd cross that bridge when she came to it.

Skills
Skill: Common AC
An Ability Card that copies the ability of a nameless nobody. There were surely ACs like these, too.
Skill: Rare AC
Given the right circumstances, any card can shine. But some definitely sell more than others.
Skill: Not-For-Sale AC
Things that are truly valuable are never sold. Because once you sell something, you can no longer use it.
