Rabbits on Earth, rabbits on the Moon, and a cute rabbit among the stars! Straight from Planet Bunny-Ears, it's me, the bunny-eared fairy. Aka, Star Sapphire!
Introduction
Ah! Intruder spotted! Gotta report it to the boss bunny, Miss Tewi, NOW! ...Huh? What about me? Heh heh, guess I've been found out. The truth is, I'm Star Sapphire, the bunny-eared fairy! I was hiding among the rabbits while I investigated this mansion that had appeared. But playing bunny was way too fun! It's not like constant nighttime bothers me. It can stay like that for all I care! Sunny wouldn't like that, though. Hmm, guess it's time I got serious. Buuut, I wanna pound a little more mochi first!
Purple Heart
Want some mochi? Or maybe some dango?
Blue Heart
There are two ways to use a mortar.
Green Heart
To make mochi, you steam the rice, then pound it in a mortar. For dango, you use the mortar to grind the rice into flour, then mix it with hot water and roll it into balls.
Orange Heart
Mochi's made with glutinous rice, and dango's made with regular rice. Mochi's made by pounding steamed rice, while dango's shaped from rice flour. So why's kashiwa mochi called "mochi" even though it's made from joushinko, which comes from regular rice? The mysteries are endless!
Pink Heart
Meh, the humans will resolve the incident. They seem to be scrambling around already. Just like this world, the night will pass eventually. Sunny will cheer up, and Luna's weird mood swings will settle down!
Summer
This much heat kills your appetite. At times like this, you need chilled shiratama dango, sweet red bean paste, and... ahh, I want shaved ice! Hellooo, any ice fairies around?
I tell everyone I'm an alien from Planet Bunny-Ears. It's not like I know any Earth rabbits, and if I said I was a moon rabbit, they'd see right through me, right?
Enhancement
My bunny ears powered up! I feel like hop, hop, hopping around!
Return
We're back! Let's go give Miss Tewi a quick rundown.
Home 1
There are tons of other bunny-eared fairies sneaking in, so there's no way they'll notice me. And even if someone gets annoyed, I can just use the other fairies as a shield and run away!
Home 2
But what IS an alien? I've heard rumors... but could Miss Eirin and Miss Kaguya be the real thing?
Home 3
Sunny and Luna say the Bamboo Forest mansion is bad news. They won't come near it. They'd look super cute with bunny ears, though. What a waste!
Reaction 1
You look kinda sleepy. Wanna rest on my lap?
Reaction 2
This is fun. It's like we're playing mother and daughter.
Reaction 3
She looks so cute when she's sleeping. Just like Sunny and Luna. *pats head*
You did your task? You're a hard worker! C'mere, you've earned some bunny ears.
Mail
A letter? It's not for Miss Eirin, is it?
Errand Finished
Hm? Are the bunny-eared fairies back?
Start of Battle

Character Information
Temperament: O-Ushiza Minami Ryuusei
O-Ushiza Minami Ryuusei (a Touhou LW original) refers to the Southern Taurids meteor shower. This is an apt temperament for Star Sapphire, who, after everything is said and done, is a remarkably cunning fairy. She is endowed with Wood Phase, due to her bunny disguise, and Star Essence, the temperament of stars.
The strong and kind Wood Phase resists Water Phase, because water nourishes wood, but it is weak to Metal Phase, because metal carves wood.
The diverse and uncooperative Star Essence resists the cooperative and indecisive Moon Essence, but it is weak to the charming and arrogant Sun Essence.
Ability/Backstory: Capable of detecting moving things
The ability of Star Sapphire from the world of eternal night (a Touhou LW original). It doesn't appear to be any different from Star's original ability.
Apparently, the Bamboo Forest of the Lost in Gensokyo used to be called Takakusagun, and it is the domain of Tewi Inaba, the oldest rabbit who dwells there. Star, Luna, and Sunny once played a game of catch the bunny in this forest. However, in this world, they visited it much earlier. Or maybe it just seems that way because the Eternal Night Incident has been prolonged. Regardless, there's something in or about this forest that causes people to lose their way. Is it the youkai rabbits or fairies in the forest playing pranks, or has the natural geography turned it into a maze? Or maybe the cause is supernatural, like someone manipulating wavelengths.
Fairies love gossip, so their heads tend to be full of nonsense, but since they are exceptionally long-lived and can be found anywhere in Gensokyo, they sometimes know things that others don't. For example, the fairies know that Takakusagun ended up in Gensokyo because the forest itself became lost in space and time. They've also heard a rumor that the Forest of Magic is, in fact, an enclave of Makai! But that one might not be true... Perhaps they also know that the bamboo forest was where Mizuchi Miyadeguchi was tragically ambushed by youkai. But then why don't they talk about it? Is it because it's not such an unusual occurrence? Mokou has also been attacked by more than a few youkai who wanted to eat her liver... What about the other occupants of the bamboo forest? Do the fairies know about the mysterious fire-conjurer that wanders about or the strangely docile wolf girl? Regardless, even if they knew all these things, there was one thing they had no knowledge of: Eientei.
Eientei was cut off from history, making it impossible to find. Eirin did this to hide Kaguya from the Lunar Emissaries. However, it seems that whatever she did, it didn't completely isolate them. Reisen, a runaway rabbit from the Moon, managed to find and enter Eientei. And despite being in hiding, Kaguya knew that Mokou was wandering around the bamboo forest and sent assassins after her. So she must have had some way to contact either visitors to the forest or its denizens. This is probably because Eirin's Astronomical Cover-Up spell is affected by the waxing and waning of the Moon. Just like how caves or paths can be hidden by the tide, there might be specific times when it's easier to sneak in or out of Eientei.
Star Sapphire wandered into Eientei, a place that shouldn't exist. If there was a mansion in the Bamboo Forest of the Lost, she would have heard about it. Perhaps it had something to do with the night that never seemed to end. Sunny and Luna got scared and ran away, but Star was fascinated. Maybe it's because she's the fairy of starlight, but it felt like the mansion's cosmic aura was calling out to her. She instinctively knew that whatever this mansion was, it was going to be fun. When she stepped inside, the first thing she saw was rabbits busily pounding mochi, and a whole swarm of fairies imitating them. The big youkai rabbit, who looked more like a human, seemed to be the leader. She switched between barking out instructions and livening up the mood with her mischievous grin. Star still didn't know what this place was, but surely they wouldn't mind if she helped herself to some mochi.
Attacks
Fairy's Pounding
The Spread Shot of Star Sapphire from the world of eternal night (a Touhou LW original). A hopping fairy attack.
Sometimes, humans wander into the Bamboo Forest of the Lost, but the rabbits always manage to chase them away. Or rather, Tewi fights them, and Reisen deals with anyone who gets past her. The ordinary youkai rabbits hide whenever humans draw near. Bunny-eared fairies, on the other hand, don't think about their own safety. They are like moths to a flame who come out to play whenever they see pretty bullets.

Starry Night Resurrection
The Focus Shot of Star Sapphire from the world of eternal night (a Touhou LW original). A fairy revival attack.
The bunny-eared fairies are strange. Normally, they play around, copying the youkai rabbits pounding mochi. This distracts and interferes with their work, of course, but the rabbits don't chase them away. Probably because, when a threat appears, the bunny-eared fairies are more than happy to fight it. This may seem like symbiosis, but it's not.

Star Sign: Starlight Rain
A Spell Card of Star Sapphire from the world of eternal night. She rains down starlight in this attack.
The bunny-eared fairies simply act according to their instincts. However, Tewi Inaba, the boss of the youkai rabbits, was well aware of this. She knew what they liked and what they tended to do in any given situation. When they see bullets, they unthinkingly fly toward them. So, it was worth keeping them around, leaving them free to do as they please. Since Tewi's youkai rabbit underlings are also smarter than the average rabbit, they understood her plan and acted accordingly.

Starlight: Star Storm
A Spell Card of Star Sapphire from the world of eternal night. She creates a storm of falling starlight.
Star Sapphire, in her bunny-eared fairy disguise, soon realized that no matter what she did, nobody would get mad or try to chase her away. It was the perfect playground, with the added bonus of free, all-you-can-eat mochi! She even tried pounding some mochi herself and found that it was actually pretty fun. That's why she decided to stay for as long as the night continued.

Super-Duper Sneaky Hyper Nova
The Last Word of Star Sapphire from the world of eternal night (a Touhou LW original). An attack born from her desire to pull pranks without drawing attention to herself.
Star Sapphire assumed she'd be able to take it easy for a good long while. The night didn't seem like it was going to end any time soon, after all. But then Tewi, the youkai rabbit boss, singled her out and called her over. Tewi hardly ever talked to the bunny-eared fairies, so she had no idea what to expect.
After slowly looking her up and down, Tewi asked if she'd be interested in being a body double. Ignoring Star's confusion, she went on to say that they could probably hide her wings and that the only real problem was her height.
"What do you mean you want me to pretend to be the princess?!"
