I'm Yukkuri Yuyuko. Yuyuko does all the work managing the spirits, and yukkuris can't die, so I just take it easy, bouncing around Hakugyokurou. I spend my time eating all kinds of things and playing with Yukkuri Youmu. But, like all people with too much time on their hands, I tend to ponder. Mostly about myself and the other yukkuris. What exactly are we?

Temperament: Yuki!
Yuki! (a Touhou LW original) refers to pretty snowflakes dancing in the sky, and it's also an expression of Yukkuri Yuyuko's joy as she dives head-first into the snow. The carefree yukkuri mistress of Hakugyokurou is incredibly curious, and her heart fills with such joy at seeing snow that she can't help but wonder what would happen if she stopped the arrival of spring. The cold snow will eventually melt and fade away, but since Yuyuko Saigyouji is a ghost, she can remain in the Netherworld forever. Who knows if the same applies to her yukkuri?
Yukkuri Yuyuko is endowed with the temperament of a yukkuri ghost (Water Phase) and an easygoing attitude that lets her dodge all of Yukkuri Youmu's criticisms (Moon Essence).
The flexible and patient Water Phase resists Metal Phase, because metal collects water, but it is weak to Earth Phase, because earth directs water.
The cooperative and indecisive Moon Essence resists the alluring and arrogant Sun Essence, but it is weak to the diverse and uncooperative Star Essence.

Yukkuri Yuyuko's ability (a Touhou LW original). The "capable of taking it easy" ability held by yukkuris incorporates a toned-down version of their Yukkuri Master's signature ability. This means that Yukkuri Yuyuko is also capable of slowly manipulating death.
People usually only think about death when someone they know passes away due to an accident or illness. However, death is a constant companion to all living creatures. You could say that living is the same as dying very slowly. This means that Yukkuri Yuyuko's ability to slowly manipulate death might give her power over every slow life and death in the universe.
Yukkuri Yuyuko lives a life of tedium. Yukkuris can't die, so she leaves all the work of managing the Netherworld to her Yukkuri Master. And since yukkuris cannot read, she can't write down any of the poems she makes or read any of the books in Hakugyokurou's library. That's why she usually finds herself pondering about herself and about death...

The problem is that seeing the cherry blossom on the folding screen puts Yukkuri Yuyuko in the mood for a picnic, and she can't stop thinking about yummy fried food.
