Character Information

Temperament: Shinten Douchi
Shinten Douchi (a Touhou LW original) refers to a great disaster that shakes both the heavens and earth. This is the temperament of Seija as a leader of the underground secret society whose members cannot fight against their instinctual need to rebel. Her temperament has been so thoroughly disguised that it is no longer recognizable. Seija stole the Capital's equipment and provisions (Moon Essence) and sneakily modified them (Star Essence) in preparation for the promised day.
Ability/Backstory: Capable of turning over anything (Concealed)
The ability of Seija Kijin from the secret society (a Touhou LW original). Her ability doesn't appear to be any different from usual. However, this Seija is a leader of a secret society. There have been rumors of a secret society existing in other, more typical Gensokyos, too. Perhaps they are connected. The place known as the Capital is a higher-dimensional metropolis built with highly advanced technology that far surpasses human comprehension. It is impossible to accurately describe a higher-dimensional metropolis in a way that humans can understand. The best that can be done is to liken it to something humans know. It is like an ant nest. Ant nests are made of many rooms that stretch from just below the surface to deep underground. Similarly, the Capital has many rooms that stretch across multiple layers. The city that is generally thought of as the Capital is merely the top-most layer. The rooms in the lower layers are called Cell Spaces in the Capital because they are universes that have been modified to function like different cells in an organism. Outside the Capital, they are usually called vassal worlds. Designed for modularity, they are like capsules or containers that can be linked or stacked together to form the vast substructure of the Capital. Each universe can be discarded, moved about, or exchanged as needed. Apparently, they're meant to last as long as a typical universe, but that doesn't mean they can last forever. The organization known as Xanadu exists in one of these Cell Spaces. Seija's secret society could be considered an ally or subsidiary of Xanadu, but they don't like to be thought of as two parts of the same organization. This is because the respective leaders act independently, and while they both oppose the Capital and don't fight each other, they do not share all the same ideals. If necessary, they'll work together, but only while it's advantageous to both parties. That said, Xanadu is the most powerful of all the underground organizations, so if they fall, the others are sure to follow. Seija's secret society is like that one kid in the class who's always stirring up trouble. Seija has gone to great lengths to hide it, but the name of her secret society is Shining Needle. She doesn't try to hide it because she thinks it sounds kind of lame (though that might be part of the reason), but because the Capital would immediately crush them if they knew it. All the information written here has been compiled from unreliable sources, so it should be taken with a grain of salt. Seija's secret society is locked in an information war with the central regions of the Capital, where they alter the Capital's records that may not have been true to begin with.

Attacks

Fun Service

The Spread Shot of Seija Kijin from the secret society (a Touhou LW original). She hides her true motives in this attack. Seija and Shinmyoumaru are the dual leaders of their secret society. Supposedly, there are other members, too, but nobody knows anything about them. It's possible that they provide a safe haven for runaway rabbits and stray tsukumogami.

Look, a Rebel!

The Focus Shot of Seija Kijin from the secret society (a Touhou LW original). She conceals her true intentions in this attack. Seija and Shinmyoumaru are both equipped with special gear called Divine Disguises, which they use to infiltrate the central regions of the Capital. Seija disguises herself as Ame no Sagume, and Shinmyoumaru pretends to be Sukunahikona. These two gods are so well known that they basically have a free pass into the Capital. Apparently, they stole these Divine Disguises from the Capital, but it's unclear what they were used for before the secret society got their hands on them.

Responsibility: Sisters, I Am Happy

A Spell Card of Seija Kijin from the secret society (a Touhou LW original). She dispels suspicion in this attack. Seija's undercover operations in the Capital can last for weeks or even months at a time. In fact, she spends more time as her divine persona than not. Seija has immersed herself so deeply into her Capital lifestyle that if she were made of weaker stuff, she probably would have had a change of heart by now. For good or ill, Seija holds true to her convictions.

Secret Info: I Don't Know, and I Never Will

A Spell Card of Seija Kijin from the secret society (a Touhou LW original). She goes full infiltration mode in this attack. Her military sword, Oborogiri, is the transmuted form of the Miracle Mallet. However, since there is only one Miracle Mallet she and Shinmyoumaru cannot both use it simultaneously. When Shinmyoumaru uses her mallet, Seija must use a replica. Oborogiri can essentially do anything the mallet can, but Seija mostly uses it to imbue the things she slashes (usually devices and computers) with oni magic. Objects imbued with this magic become tsukumogami and go on a rampage, helping Seija sabotage the Capital and steal vital intelligence. Of course, Seija knows full well the repercussions of overusing the Miracle Mallet's power, so she is very careful (perhaps uncharacteristically so) to only use it sparingly. After all, losing Shinmyoumaru after everything they've achieved together would be a huge setback for Seija.

The Great Senior Sister, Loved by All!

The Last Word of Seija Kijin from the secret society (a Touhou LW original). To maintain her cover in the Capital, Seija cannot afford to arouse suspicion. Since she masquerades as an ordinary sister of the Capital, she is sometimes ordered to deal with disturbances. This occasionally brings her into contact with her undercover allies. Unfortunately, the rules of the Capital dictate that all rebels must be reported. Seija has lost count of the number of allies she's had to report. If she didn't report them, she'd invite suspicion. But what if she had to report Shinmyoumaru? Would she hesitate? Or would she sell her out to the Capital without a second thought?
