Low-Latitude Aurora (a Touhou LW original) refers to auroras that can be observed from locations closer to the equator than usual. This is the perfect temperament for the laidback vampire's little sister from the world of eternal summer.
Thanks to Patchouli's amazing inventions, Flan has successfully protected herself against sunlight and running water, just like her sister! (Strong against Sun Essence and Water Phase.) However, she seems to be overly conscious of her sister's opinion of her. (Strong against Fire Phase but weak to Moon Essence.)
Flandre spoke with barely a pause when asked about Patchouli's inventions. "Sure, Patchy might not be the best at compounding medicine... if you compare her to the pharmacist at Eientei. But I bet she's better at it than humans. Besides, isn't her elemental spirit magic stuff basically the same as alchemy? And alchemy's like the forefather of medicine, so there's no way Patchy isn't good at it."

The ability of Flandre Scarlet from the world delirious with eternal summer (a Touhou LW original). This ability is essentially the same as the Flandres from other worlds. Just like in our world, this Flandre first left her room well after the incident Remilia caused had been resolved. But unfortunately for her, she was greeted by a world mostly submerged beneath the ocean's waves.
"The first thing I saw back then was a pool of water that stretched hopelessly on and on, as far as the eye could see... Compared to that, I was nothing but a speck of sand."
"Wow, I didn't take you for a poet, Flandre. Why don't you try writing a slogan for the cosmetics?"
"..."
When Flandre stepped outside, she saw Remilia covered in sand, losing to the same girl who defeated her during the incident. And Flandre met the same fate shortly after. "That girl's completely crazy!" she thought to herself.
"So, I tried writing some slogans... but I was told you'd be able to come up with something better."
"Huh? Isn't it pretty much the same as coming up with incantations or Spell Card names? Oh, now I get it... Your Spell Card names are weird."
"..."
Flandre was left speechless by the rudeness of her sister's response. But, well, perhaps it's foolish to expect people to be polite in Gensokyo.
"To tell you the truth, deep down, I thought what you were doing was stupid..."
Now it was Remilia's turn to be speechless. But her mind was in a fury, "What do you mean "deep down"? You called me stupid to my face. Multiple times," she thought to herself.
"But now I understand. Let's launch a rocket together, Remilia!"
They'd been sisters for hundreds of years, but Remilia still couldn't bring herself to trust her. Though admittedly, they only really started talking with each other recently.
"Of course, there's no point in shooting a rocket full of water at the moon. That's a stupid idea!"
Remilia just barely stopped herself from yelling, "Again! You said it was stupid again!"
"But what if we change it so once the rocket hits the moon, it releases scarlet mist everywhere...?"
"That's brilliant! We could cover not only the moon but the whole universe in mist! Then we could go wherever we please!"
Looking at her older sister jumping about with unrestrained joy awoke some suppressed feelings within Flandre. Right, this is what she truly wanted all along―
"But that would mean the bottle would have to break on impact. We can't leave litter around. That's unacceptable."

Flandre thought Patchouli was pretty cool when she heard her say that... before forgetting all about it the next day.

Perhaps it's a reference to Miyoi Okunoda. By the way, the splash Flandre creates in this attack is caused by a water-based moisturizer.

Flandre made sure her skin looked beautiful as she stylishly relaxed on the beach, and just as planned, she became the center of attention. "Aah, I'm the most beautiful girl here. I'm the queen of the beach."
But she shortly grew tired of it. At first, she thought swimming in the sea wouldn't be very ladylike, but out of sheer boredom, she eventually decided to try it. She protected herself against running water and dove in... attracting even more attention. She felt like the saltwater version of Wakasagihime.
That was how the supreme beauty and shining star of the ocean, Flandre Scarlet, created her Last Word. Though, honestly, who wouldn't look on anxiously when a vampire exposes themselves to the danger of sunlight and running water...
