The usual outfit of Zanmu from the world delirious with eternal spring. Her nameless sword cuts surprisingly well.

Rhyolitic Magma (a Touhou LW original) refers to viscous magma with a high silica content. This is an apt temperament for this world's Zanmu, who preaches the merits of a new, ordered method of rulership. "There's nothing wrong with music... but listening to music during class is against the rules." (Strong against Wood Phase.) "I hope you pure spirits heard that!" (Strong against Water Phase.) "Oh, right... Rules aren't going to stop Hisami." (Strong against Moon Essence, but weak to Sun Essence.)
The ability of Zanmu Nippaku from the world delirious with eternal spring (a Touhou LW original). This ability seems to be pretty much the same as the abilities possessed by Zanmus from other worlds. The three leaders of the Disciplinary Committee each have their own title representing the Three Sacred Treasures. Gemstone for the magatama, Mirror for the mirror, and Steel for the sword. It is speculated that these titles were inspired by Zanmu's many experiences in the world of humans. Zanmu began her descent into onihood during an age of constant war. It was triggered by her realization of humanity's hypocrisy, lazy adherence to the status quo, and irrational need to suck up to those in power. No one searched for the truth, and everyone was driven solely by their cold-hearted and selfish desires. It was all so depressingly pointless. As a monk, she should have been able to accept this feeling of emptiness as another truth of the universe and move on, but this was the breaking point for Zanmu. She began to seek the truth behind nothingness, emptiness, and nihilism more fervently than any monk. So, while she had started down the path of the oni, it is hard to say that her choices were entirely heretical. Sometimes, the teachings of youkai are more virtuous compared to those of the most esteemed monk. Zanmu isn't exactly sure when this world's eternal spring began, but she feels it was a relatively recent change. She isn't too happy with the eternal spring because it eternally reminds her of a battle that occurred during this season. She broke her oath of loyalty and fled, taking a child, much too young for battle, with her... She saw the life in her arms, that could fade at any moment, as the sole ember of hope for the future. Only the young can forge a new age, no matter what the older generations may claim. Even after surviving on goji berries and being revered as a hermit instead of a warrior, her belief in this never wavered. Zanmu knows the importance of raising and educating children better than anyone. "Goji berries are super yummy, aren't they, Lady Zanmu?!" When Zanmu recounted this tale to the fruit-obsessed tour guide of Hell, that was all she seemed to care about.
The Spread Shot of Zanmu Nippaku from the world delirious with eternal spring (a Touhou LW original). Without hesitation, she unleashes an old sword technique she had sworn never to use again. Zanmu insists that her blade has no name, but it might have had a name in the past. It could be one of the two famous swords that were given as offerings to Hakone Shrine.
The Focus Shot of Zanmu Nippaku from the world delirious with eternal spring (a Touhou LW original). She regretfully uses an old sword technique from an age of meaningless wars. What would it have been like to travel alongside a great military leader who fled from the capital? It would probably be much more arduous and stressful than the stories let on. Then again, it might still be fun, at least until the final battle.
A Spell Card of Zanmu Nippaku from the world delirious with eternal spring (a Touhou LW original). She recreates a Hell full of pure spirits in this attack. It might be hard to imagine that a Buddhist monk would ever serve under a military leader, but things were different back in the Sengoku era. It was a time when monks were expected to take up arms to defend the teachings of their temple. Temples were also the first places to receive knowledge about and implement the latest Chinese technological innovations, making them formidable bastions of military might.
A Spell Card of Zanmu Nippaku from the world delirious with eternal spring (a Touhou LW original). She preaches the futility and worthlessness of academic life in this attack. Many esoteric Buddhist schools incorporated aspects of mountain worship in their training regimes. Students would spend each day training not only their mind and spirit, but also their martial skills. For Buddhists, fighting and killing are taboo. However, they were willing to break this taboo to protect the Buddha's teachings... Zanmu no longer sees any value in the training she undertook as a monk or a warrior, even if the things she learned might help her as a discipline officer.
The Last Word of Zanmu Nippaku from the world delirious with eternal spring (a Touhou LW original). An attack that combines a greenhouse, a sword, and a fantastical fragrance. Zanmu thinks of the academy as a kind of greenhouse. It is not the strong or smart plants that survive, but the plants that adapt. And the same goes for students. However, she believes this should be taken a step further, and that the academy should be a kind of conservatory for all the world's seeds. This idea was probably subconsciously inspired by her experiences long ago, back when she was venerated as a hermit. After absorbing spirits, Zanmu almost became a sagacious spirit, and at that moment, she intuitively realized that the teachings of Taoism are similar to the rules that govern plants. Compared to the lives of most organisms, the growth of a seed into a tree is imperceptibly slow, like how the vast universe changes so slowly that the stars appear static in the night sky. A tree's wood is porous, and its branches and roots spread like a net because they reflect its memories. There are gaps in its memories from its time as a seed. Evolutionary trees are basically the same. "Lady Zanmu, quit thinking about all that difficult stuff and come try some of these bamboo shoots. They're in season!" "Aren't they always in season?"
Zanmu no longer cares about her appearance. However, she appreciates how easy her uniform is to move around in.
"The world of humans cannot give us meaning or purpose. We must find them ourselves."
Has this universe's Hell become a part of Gensokyo? How does that work exactly?
