Momoyo holds things together the way any unsung hero does. She just does it a few hundred feet underground, with a drill.

It's the Underground Waste Ward full of endless walls, floors, and blocks, each one looking like packed-down scrap and waste, as though an urban mine had fossilized twice over.

Momoyo keeps eating and digging without a second thought as to what she might be digging though. But one day, she must have swallowed something strange. She suddenly remembered something and a word escaped her lips before she even realized it. "Gensokyo." It felt like an impossibly old memory that she hadn't quite forgotten, but could never fully recall. At least until now... It had come back, vivid and clear as day.

"What I took for ordinary minerals might've been something else entirely―more than just capacitors or batteries. They're stones that store information as an electrical charge... semiconductors. I'm just a kaiju who digs holes, pulls out stones, and eats them―that's all I do. Strategy, grand kaiju ideals, that kind of stuff's never been my thing. Damn, I don't know what to do.
