Koishi knows that these are merely coincidences that people have ascribed meaning to. However, even if she has no interest in others, she can make do by going with the flow and mirroring the words and vibes directed toward her. The heart is an open window with no shutter. Anyone can sneak in at any time. The only defense is to run, and run quickly.
She is a fragment of Koishi Komeiji, a random encounter from the Underworld (strong against Earth Phase) and a satori youkai with a closed-off heart (strong against Star Essence).

You cannot hide your heart. No matter how hard you try to keep your thoughts and feelings a secret, you will eventually spill them. If you shut your mouth, your eyes will speak for you. If you shut your eyes, your trembling will betray you. And if somehow you manage to stop that, your brainwaves will emit a signal. The heart has no inside or outside. It is connected to the world, forming a single Klein bottle. One day, your secrets will be revealed, just as one day, you will be another person. You cannot close off your heart. It would be like trying to build a wall across a vast, open desert.
When did the boundary between the self and others first appear? Looking back across the history of all living creatures, the concept of the individual, which we take for granted, is an anomaly. Even as single-celled organisms evolved into multicellular organisms, and later into even more complex beings, they continued to live in groups, colonies. Does every single unit of the colony have independent thoughts, or do they think as a collective whole? Or is it both?
If the latter is true, why do we only think on an individual scale, not on a national or universal one? Or conversely, on the scale of cells or atoms? Or do we, and we simply don't realize it? Maybe, probably... no, that must be the case. Our thoughts are the flashing lights of tinier presences registered as signals and converted into data. There must be a greater presence that does the same thing with our thoughts. Sukhavati, the Land of Bliss, is a great, calm ocean containing many seas of consciousness, and our bodies are microcosms formed by multiple Big Bangs. If you ascend to the level above, you can become another person, and if you take a peek at the level below, you can change yourself. Your delusions are the only thing holding you back.
If there is everything, it is the same as if there is nothing. So, surely, even if you lose everything, nothing changes.
