Ao-arashi (a Touhou LW original) refers to a fairly strong wind that blows in early summer. It can also refer to fresh alpine air. This is an apt temperament for Reisen, who drives an Earth rover across vast open plains while being cheered on by the other members of Eientei. Her temperament has changed in order for her to survive in the Crazed World. She has developed resistance to Star Essence to better purify impurities and resistance to Moon Essence to better hide her presence from the Lunar Capital.

The ability of Reisen Udongein Inaba, the racer (a Touhou LW original). In the world brimming with heat and madness, its denizens use ultra-long-distance races to determine the outcome of battles. Reisen's ability doesn't appear to have changed much, but the way in which she conducts battles of bullets has changed drastically. Reisen is probably the most unfortunate racer in this universe. Despite belonging to Team Eientei, one of the most technologically advanced teams, she is stuck being their test driver. Actually, perhaps it would be more accurate to call her Team Eientei's guinea pig... even though she's a rabbit. Either way, this indicates that Reisen isn't Team Eientei's only driver. Perhaps they're keeping their main driver (probably Kaguya) in reserve. The winner of the race is granted a wish, but the other members of Eientei aren't really interested in that. They have the power to achieve their ambitions without having to rely on wishes. The knowledgeable pharmacist and the chatty princess are much more concerned with gathering data and trying something new. And the prankster rabbit... well, she's just helping out because the whole thing genuinely amuses her. Outdated Earth Rover This rover is one of the Lunar Capital's earlier models used to explore Earth. Its official name is unknown, and while it may be called "outdated," this is from the perspective of nonhumans, so it's difficult to discern how old it actually is. What muddies the waters even further is that the outer appearance of the rover has been highly modified, first by the Lunar Capital and then later by Eirin and Kaguya. It originally looked like a cart or a horse-drawn carriage. However, Reisen's eyes immediately saw through all the trappings, and she recognized that it was an outdated model. When Seiran and Ringo descended to Earth, they used a much more recent Earth rover. They only brought this one along as a spare. Seiran dragged it out from their secret hideout in the Yamanba Sanctuary, where it had been sitting all but forgotten, so Eientei could use it for the race. Reisen calls it a hunk of junk, but that's more of a term of endearment than anything. She used to practice driving rovers like this back when she was training to become a moon rabbit soldier.
