Summer! The beach! Time to let loose! Taking to the sun-soaked stage is the band all you young folk have been going crazy for: Choujuu Gigaku! Say hello to the singing, dancing amabiko who's guaranteed to brighten your day... Kyouko!
"Gyateee! The show's about to start, so buckle up!"
Kyouko Kasodani is a yamabiko―no, an amabiko from the world of eternal summer. Mystia sometimes calls her Gyate. She uses her megaphone to amplify her singing to the crowd. It does such a good job that her voice echoes far beyond the concert venue to all the other beachgoers. Her Choujuu Gigaku partner, Mystia, has a megaphone of her own. Even in this world, their love for music remains unchanged.
"I love, love, LOVE having fun," exclaimed Kyouko. She was as energetic as ever, and it seemed the interviewer was having trouble keeping up.
"I'm no good at thinking about complicated stuff... but I love shouting as loud as I can on stage with Misty. I hope we can keep doing this forever. As long as we're together, I feel like there's nothing we can't do!"
Waving her arms, legs, and tail wildly, Kyouko looked ready to burst into song. With her boundless enthusiasm, it's not hard to see why she has so many fans.
This is the tale of a summer concert gone by...
The dazzling sunlight illuminated our smiles, making us look even cuter. It was super hot, and we couldn't stop sweating. But we weren't gonna let that stop us! Until then, we had followed the setlist perfectly, singing and dancing without a single mistake. With our megaphones in hand, our voices echoed through the venue, and the crowd was having a blast.
But that wasn't enough for us. We wanted to aim even higher! Just as I was thinking that only the truly hyped-up concerts live on in the fans' memories, I saw Mystia glance over at me. She nodded, and I nodded back.
"Here we gooooo!"
Shouting at the top of our lungs, we leapt up into the air.
"Ready to take things up a notch, Misty?!"
"Yep! Let's sing 'til our lungs burst!"
All those hours we spent practicing together paid off on that stage. Our call-and-response was perfectly in sync, and our chemistry was plain for all to see. The fans cheered and screamed. I think I even heard a few squeals. Soaking in the atmosphere, our spirits soared. I've never been a fan of grueling practice sessions... but a performance like that makes it all worthwhile.
"We're just getting started!"
Shouting above all the cheers, we continued to hype up the crowd. We held nothing back, all in the name of putting on a great show. After all, that's what fans of Choujuu Gigaku come to see.
