Blossoming Eyes of Love

Mentioned Characters: Satori, Koishi
Story
The cherry trees were all in full bloom, creating a sight of breathtaking beauty. Beneath one of those trees, sat a girl, focused on digging a hole. She hummed a happy tune as she worked, but what was she digging for?

This Koishi Komeiji hails from a world steeped in spring. Even here, she's known for her unpredictable appearances and carefree nature. According to classroom rumors, she often takes naps in the flowerbeds behind the academy building. It seems she can't resist the warm, sunny charm of spring.

"Just keep digging, just keep digging..." A closer look revealed that Koishi wasn't just digging holes for the sake of it. From her pink backpack, she pulled out handfuls of flower bulbs of all different kinds. But why was she planting flowers in such an out-of-the-way place? Trying to make sense of Koishi's whims is about as foolish as it gets.

Dig, place, bury. "This spot gets yellow flowers. This spot gets pink ones." Dig, place, bury. "And in this spot, I'll bury some memories." Dig, place, bury. "Spring will come, then come again. I have to plant flowers all over." With each repetition―dig, place, bury―she mutters to herself, giggling all the while.

"All done!" Having finished planting all the bulbs, she flopped herself down below the large cherry tree with a satisfied smile. Just moments earlier, she had been busy digging, placing, and burying, but now it appeared to be naptime. She began to doze off, and her eyes slowly shut, just as her third eye did long ago. "Gotta remember... to show Satori... my flowers... Zzz." Wrapped in spring's warmth, she drifted gently into a dreamy slumber. A soft breeze blew, and a shower of tiny cherry blossoms floated down and landed in her hair, blending in perfectly with its pink.
