This Reimu Hakurei travels from world to world resolving incidents. When she visits a new world, she follows its customs. In the world of eternal summer, she wears a cool swimsuit that she can move around in freely. Her Foundling and partner, Tajikarao, has also adopted a form more suitable for the beach, causing Reimu to give her a new nickname: Umikarao.

Yin-Yang League Of all the different sports and competitive activities in the Yin-Yang League, this Reimu is best at beach soccer. It's played on sand, an unstable surface, so you need incredible leg strength to keep up with the speed of the game. And since the sand's scorching hot, you have to be tough as nails to run on it barefoot. The Yin-Yang League is such a challenging competition that those who can win it can win pretty much anything.

"All right, let's do this!" Reimu pumped herself up as she headed to Beach House Kourindou. This Reimu had a mission. She must enter the Yin-Yang League and win it. In her mind, that was the only way to resolve the endless summer incident affecting this world. "C'mon, Umikarao, we've got another hard day of training ahead of us! Oh, but before that... Miyoi! One cola, please! And some yakisoba!" You can't train on an empty stomach.

Reimu sipped her cola as she looked down at the locals of this Gensokyo playing on the beach. She wondered how long ago everything sank beneath the waves. It must have been a while since nobody seemed concerned about resolving the incident anymore. "Hmm, maybe I'm sticking my nose in where it doesn't belong..." The shimmering summer sea, the cool sea breeze, the golden sand... Reimu was enjoying this world, too―So much so that it seemed like a waste to end it all. "Sorry for the wait, here's your yakisoba!" "Woohoo! You can't stop at a beach house without eating yakisoba." "Haha, thanks for stopping by every day!" Reimu's face lit up as she smelled the savory-sweet yakisoba. She really was enjoying this world... maybe a little too much.

"All right, we've had yakisoba, so let's get training!" Reimu finally stepped out of Kourindou's shade into the bright sunlight. She felt the heat from above and below coursing through her as she expertly dribbled the ball. Racing through the sea breeze, kicking up the scorching sand, dripping sweat, her legs felt heavy, and she started to pant. Even though she was pushing her body to its limit, she couldn't stop smiling. The locals who were playing moments ago stopped to stare at her. "You look like you're having the time of your life, Miss Reimu!" exclaimed Miyoi in admiration. "Of course I am! Let's take a shot, Umikarao!" Her partner was laughing beside her. That alone made this the best summer ever.
