Story
"It's LUNATIC TIME! Wonderful! It's been ages since I last got to go all out in a battle of bullets! That's OK, right?! I'm wearing the outfit they gave me! Nah, we don't need anyone's permission! We're FREE! Go get 'em, fairies! Don't hold back! Make the Lost Word cry!"

Clownpiece's Fantasy Rebirth Fairies have many origins, but most start out as elemental spirits. Elemental spirits are spirits of nature. They are basically gods but much less powerful. They exist everywhere, and sometimes they perform harmless pranks. The idea of these spirits first arose as an attempt to explain invisible forces. Nowadays, these forces are explained through the story of science, but in the past, a different story was told―not a story of emotionless machines but of relatable and temperamental gods. The reason why only children can see fairies is because children and adults believe in different stories.

"I did as you ordered and learned about Gensokyo. I understand what you were trying to teach me now... So I won't cry. Not anymore. Please forgive me for shooting bullets at you... Lady Hecatia."

Land of Hellfire There is no harsher environment than Hell, and Clownpiece was one of the strongest fairies that resided there. Perhaps she even thought she was worthy of receiving the goddess's love. That would explain why she didn't question the goddess when she was ordered to leave Hell to live in Gensokyo for a time. But what did she actually learn from that experience? After interacting with the fairies up there, she might have realized that having friends wasn't so bad after all.

"Reporting. Encountered enemies and defeated them without issue. It was unplanned, but what I saw further confirms my suspicions. Fairies, the embodiments of life, have the potential that all others lack. This might just work. I feel a bit sorry for this fairy, though... keeping her in such a tiny jar."
