Defenders of the Capital

Mentioned Characters: Reisen, Eirin, Kaguya, Sagume
Story
White Rabbit of the Capital Reisen Udongein Inaba could have easily followed a myriad of different fates within the various Singularity Worlds belonging to the B-Type Multiverse. Records of these fates exist within false data, but their credibility is questionable. They may not have happened. In fact, that's almost certainly the case. What follows is an unedited transcription of these records... The Capital has always been peaceful ever since it was founded. The Senior Sister's peace has never faltered, not even for a second. However, there may have been a few mistakes.

Before She Became a Hero Reisen Udongein Inaba is a hero. Some say she once descended to Earth, though others claim she has always remained on the Moon. She was raised by the Watatsuki Sisters, the Lunar Emissaries who command the rabbit defense corps, and served as an apprentice to the great sage Eirin Yagokoro, who's rumored to be the right hand of Lord Tsukuyomi. However, her latest master was Eirin's favorite and most intelligent disciple, Kaguya Houraisan, who has an incredible knack for causing trouble. Reisen is also an acquaintance of the silent sage, Sagume Kishin. Reisen is a super elite of the moon rabbit world, blessed with the perfect head start to becoming a hero. However... there are some completely unfounded rumors circulating the Telepathic Network that claim Reisen's masters worked her to the bone. Spreading misinformation is a serious crime in the Capital, and the rabbits were warned not to take these rumors seriously.

Savior of the Capital According to the records, Reisen has been involved in every Capital Defense Corps mission since she became a member. She has also gained full accolades in every mission, from her first battle to her most recent peace-keeping operation. In the past, before the implementation of the standardized rabbit missions, it is said that the kaiju attacks were much more vicious and brutal, and that heroes like Reisen were all that kept the Capital safe. While the current peace of the Capital may have come about thanks to the will of the Senior Sister, it is maintained by heroes. However... there are some completely unfounded rumors circulating the Telepathic Network that claim Reisen either fled in the face of the enemy or refused to answer the summons to battle. Spreading misinformation is a serious crime in the Capital, and... [The rest of this record is illegible.]

Punishment Room? There is a special room in the Capital for dealing out punishments. At least, that is what the rumors would have you believe. There is also talk of a rabbit seeing Reisen leaving this room. But why would the great hero of the Capital get punished? There's no way that's true. Other rumors talk about a black rabbit who looks a lot like Reisen fighting for the kaiju, or that she was seen working with members of Ys, one of the underground rebel groups. These are obviously lies maliciously spread to discredit the Capital's hero.

An Ordinary Rabbit's Dream "I had a dream last night. Maybe it's 'cause I read that sketchy article on the Telepathic Network before I went to bed. Still, I've never had a dream like that before... I was fighting―I mean, keeping the peace―alongside the great hero who shares my name. Bullets flashed about us like thunderbolts, lighting up our faces. Within the dream, I was scared, but her presence gave me the courage to keep going. And as the fighting continued... it started to feel exhilarating. When I woke up, I was greeted by the same old Capital morning, where you can't tell whether it's day or night. But my heart is still racing even now. I feel like something out of the ordinary is going to happen today..."
