Marisa Kirisame is a magician who lives in the Forest of Magic. She'd finally made some headway on her magic research, so she decided to reward herself with a visit to the hot spring town in Former Hell. Plus, the yukata she ordered from Kourin had just come in. And that's how she found herself in a hot spring inn's banquet hall, face-to-face with the last person she expected.

Marisa had checked into the hot spring inn that night. After freshening up in the open-air bath, she wandered over to the big banquet hall nearby, wrapped in a yukata tailored by Kourin. Not another soul was in the hall. Even the karaoke setup on stage sat empty, with no one around to use it. Marisa ordered some food and drinks and settled in to enjoy a quiet dinner all to herself in the wide, empty room. That's when she heard someone come skipping in. Whoever it was climbed up onto the stage. It was Mystia.

"Talk about a ghost town in here! I can't believe Marisa's the whole audience!" Mystia had been hired to get the party going, so a crowd of one wasn't exactly what she'd signed up for. She grumbled about it for a second, then shrugged it off and went right back to her usual cheerful self. She turned to face Marisa. "Get ready to hear me sing my heart out." A second later, the room was shaking with sound.

The deafening blast of sound made Marisa tense up for a second, but she eased into the rhythm almost immediately. Turns out getting swept up in a sound storm like this was actually pretty fun. Seeing Marisa's reaction only spurred Mystia on, and she cranked her voice up even louder. The karaoke equipment started smoking, unable to keep up with the sheer force of Mystia's voice. That's when Marisa jumped in. The rhythm had her so hyped up that she just couldn't sit still anymore. She grabbed the spare mic and joined in with Mystia. What came next was a full-blown duet that carried through every corner of the inn. They kept singing until the equipment couldn't take it anymore and blew up.
