Ibaraki-Douji's Arm was summoned by Kasen to investigate another world. Considering how they used to be one being, she couldn't help but laugh dejectedly at the strange turn their relationship had taken. Still, she was confident her chance would come eventually. So, for the time being, she decided to play along.

When Ibaraki-Douji's Arm arrived in the other world, the first thing she did was draw her sword. Sure, she'd investigate, but she was also going to have some fun. She had a lot of pent-up aggression after being bossed around by Kasen for so long. It was then that a little girl holding a journal appeared before her.

The girl seemed to be human, but there was something endearing about her. At first, Ibaraki-Douji's Arm tried to scare her away, but in the face of that little girl's cheerful smile, her threats began to lose their bite. Time passed until Ibaraki-Douji's Arm found herself sitting down with the girl's head resting on her lap. The girl was sleeping peacefully. "I give up."

After that, the girl showed Ibaraki-Douji's Arm around this world, introducing her to all sorts of people, including locals as well as other interworld travelers like herself. She even got to battle some of them. That was what she was hoping for―a chance to let loose and go wild. She reveled in the joy of unleashing her full power, and yet by pitting her strength against theirs, she also began to understand them. This, in turn, led to her discovery of the medium incident. Ibaraki-Douji's Arm investigated the incident with the little girl, and she even helped her resolve it. To think that she, Ibaraki-Douji's Arm, would end up lending someone else a hand... Still, try as she might, she couldn't deny that it was fun.

Ibaraki-Douji's Arm ran all over this world with the girl, the locals, and the other interworld travelers, trying to resolve the incident together. She thought she'd be sick of it all, but she wasn't. That's why, when it was time to say goodbye, she said "See ya. I'm sure we'll meet again." without even thinking about it. As the light enveloped her, her thoughts turned to the haughty hermit who was surely waiting for her. Would she send her off somewhere again? That would be annoying. Then again, she would never have had this fun experience if she hadn't gotten off her butt and done something. Who knows? She might even finally get her chance. So, she decided to keep playing along. That was what she thought as she returned to her world.
