Chimi Houjuu is an extremely old youkai who lives quietly deep within the sanctuary. Though perhaps she is more like a god or an elemental spirit. The sanctuary is so remote and hard to access that nobody seems to know exactly what she is. In the past, unidentifiable youkai like these were called chimi.

Nature Park Doremyland has a new themed area. It's an all-natural jungle filled with tall trees, big leaves, and strange animals. It's been a big hit with some of the guests because of the thrilling experiences you can have there. However, as you proceed through the jungle, you must be careful to follow the guide's instructions at all times.

Mystery Meat As one of the Doremyland theme park guides, Chimi cooks big hunks of meat for the guests. It looks tantalizingly juicy, but how does it taste? A certain youkai journalist was determined to find out. She started by interviewing youkai who have actually eaten it. "Once you've tasted it, no other meat can satisfy you." (A ghost gourmand) "It's so juicy. Every bite is bliss. The only meat I can think of that might be better... is dragon meat." (An oomukade kaiju and renowned picky eater)

Find a Friend in Doremyland "Thanks for letting me interview you today!" The journalist, Aya Shameimaru, had managed to convince Chimi Houjuu to agree to an interview. They were in Nature Park. It may look like an ordinary jungle, but it was actually one of Doremyland's many attractions. "To start, could you please explain what this area is all―" GYAAAA GYAAAA GYAAAA! COOEEE COOEEE COOEEE! "Hehe, they seem to be in a good mood today." "Sorry, let me change the question. First, could you tell me what's making that racket?!" "Oh, umm... I'm not sure." Aya was worried. Her interview had gotten off to a rocky start.

"Ayayaya! This is delicious!" "Told you so." With the distracting cries of strange creatures and Chimi's vague answers, it looked like her interview might end up being a complete waste of time. Luckily, she kept at it. In the end, it was Chimi's barbecued meat that drew Aya's attention. "By the way, what kind of meat is this?" "You wanna know everything, don't you?" Aya almost asked Chimi if she knew what an interview was, but she swallowed her snarky reply with another mouthful of meat. "A little mystery adds to the taste. But if you really wanna know, you should try and discover it yourself." "Is that a challenge?" "It's whatever you want it to be." Aya matched Chimi's mischievous grin with a grin of her own. Apparently, ever since this interview, Aya has become a regular visitor to the Nature Park.
