This Cirno lives in a land of endless summer. The overenergetic ice fairy's usually pale skin had turned into a healthy, sun-kissed brown under the blazing sun.

One day, Cirno found herself at the beach with the vast blue sea stretched out before her. The other fairies were there as well, playing along the shore, building castles of sand. Cirno watched them with a slight grin. (Heh, I'm gonna make a castle, too. Way bigger than theirs! And not outta sand, nope! I'm making mine outta ice!)

Cirno set about building an ice castle, but almost immediately hit a snag. She couldn’t quite picture what a grand castle should look like. All she ended up with was a lopsided foundation. "What's the matter, Cirno?" As Cirno struggled, Daiyousei appeared before her. "Dai, you gotta help me!" Thanks to Daiyousei's advice, Cirno finished making a splendid little ice castle. Happy with her creation, she decided to build a bigger one. Riding high on her success, she let out a cry and raised a towering fortress of ice in one swoop.

With Daiyousei at her side, Cirno stood proudly at the top of the towering ice castle. Daiyousei's eyes sparkled in awe. "Wow, what a view." Cirno grinned down at the beach below and shouted, "Look! This is MY castle! Built by ME, the STRONGEST!" The fairies who had been playing in the sand rushed over as they chattered with excitement. "Whoa, amazing!" they shouted, running their hands over the icy walls before scrambling to climb. Cracks began to spread through the ice under their weight. "Stop it! You'll break my castle!" "Relax, it's fine. Dai climbed it, too!" The fairies ignored Cirno and continued climbing. "Fine then! Time to defend the castle, Dai!!" And so began the great defense of the ice castle.

Like soldiers storming a fortress, the fairies kept climbing up recklessly. Cirno tried to push them back, and it turned into a full-blown battle that she and Daiyousei ended up winning. Seeing the defeated fairies fall, Cirno burst out laughing. But that laughter proved fatal. Already weakened by the weight of the fairies, the ice castle cracked and shattered under the force of her booming voice. "My castle, NOOOOOO!" Cirno fell to her knees before the rubble. Picking themselves up, the other fairies called out cheerfully. "Make another one! We wanna climb it again!" The fairies had so much fun storming the castle that they wanted more. Cirno's eyes lit up. Nothing thrilled the ice fairy more than being relied on. She looked at them and announced, "Heh, you'll see! I'll make a castle so tough it won't fall, no matter how many of you attack! And it'll be HUGE!"
