Secret Rehearsal

Mentioned Characters: Komachi, Eiki, Lunasa, Kutaka
Story
Shiki Eiki, Yamaxanadu usually works as the stationmaster of the Spirit River Railroad. But today was her day off. Dressed in something a little different, she had come to a place that looked nothing like a railroad. She wasn't holding her Guiding Whip, but a microphone instead. So why was someone so strict and serious as Eiki up on stage? Apparently, while practicing scales with perfect precision, she discovered the joy of karaoke competitions.

Komachi Onozuka usually works as a ticket examiner for the Spirit River Railroad. But today was her day off. She was happily making the most of the rest she had earned fair and square. Instead of her Big Puncher, she was waving glow sticks as she watched her stationmaster on stage. But something wasn't quite right... The audience waved glow sticks just like Komachi's; their cheers were deafening. "She said this was just a karaoke competition, but it feels kinda different..."

Kutaka Niwatari usually works as a guide for the Spirit River Railroad. But today was her day off. She was peacefully making the most of the rest she had earned fair and square. Instead of blowing her whistle, she was waving glow sticks in the air, captivated by her stationmaster's performance. "What an amazing voice! But this is way beyond a normal karaoke contest, no?!" Her question vanished into the crowd's cheers. Before she knew it, she was dancing along to Eiki's beautiful voice and having the time of her life.

Lost & Found 2026 No one really knows who started it or when. One day, it was simply there: a secret concert held in the Underground Waste Ward. Its name? The Karaoke Championship! On stage, anyone could break free from the strict rules of normal life. But one star stood above the rest. "Lady Eiki! Your voice is so powerful it echoes to the depths of the Underworld!" "Whoa, the whole venue's glowing green! She's SO popular! Right, Piyo Sensei?!" The excitement rose with every note of Eiki's song. The audience's cheers became part of the performance. Atop the stage, Eiki was both singer and conductor.

"Phew... that was close. I can't believe Komachi and Kutaka actually came to watch. My voice almost cracked when I saw them." Eiki stepped off stage and breathed a sigh of relief. Poised. Elegant. Radiant. Her flawless performance was the result of relentless training. But she still aimed for greater heights. "I want a sound that's more intricate, more profound. With that, I'm sure my singing would improve." Eiki had no intention of sharing her thoughts. But then, she overheard a nearby conversation. "I wish we could find someone to help us. Don't you, Lunasa?" "Yes. Someone who isn't related to us. Someone independent and passionate about music." The night's concert was over. At least, it was... until Eiki sensed an opportunity.
