The Jeweled Pagoda was given to Shou Toramaru by Bishamonten. As both a sacred treasure and a pure weapon, it serves her well in battles and in her sermons. It's something Shou treasures deeply... though she still manages to lose it more often than not.
Nazrin's List of Places the Jeweled Pagoda Has Been Found
- Near the lecture hall at Myouren Temple
"It's often lying near the entrance. Best to check thoroughly."
- The Human Village dango shop
"A place I get taken to often. The owner ends up keeping it safe for me."
- A rice paddy field
"Why there, of all places? And honestly, when did she even go there?"
"The treasure ship continues its voyage through the sky. So much time seems to have passed since that incident... though some days it feels like no time has passed at all. There were plenty of hardships along the way, but Myouren Temple has finally found its place in Gensokyo. Even so, our mission hasn't changed. We will keep guiding everyone, together. Like the light shining from this Jeweled Pagoda... Wait... My Jeweled Pagoda's missing!"
"Seriously?!"
"Lost it again, huh? Honestly, I bet even Lord Bishamonten would be sick of hearing about this."
"Ugh... I have no excuse. I don't know how, but it always seems to disappear when I'm not looking..."
Nazrin sighed as she watched Shou fret in a panic.
"What am I going to do?! I'll be in serious trouble without the Jeweled Pagoda!"
Shou glanced over at Nazrin, her apologetic look making it painfully obvious that she was counting on Nazrin for help.
(Here we go again.)
"...Fine, I'll help."
"Really?! Thank you so much!"
Nazrin had known from the start that things would end up this way. As routine as it had become, she still felt a bit proud that Shou relied on her.
"All right, I'm off."
Dowsing rods in hand, Nazrin dashed off without another word. As soon as she landed, she'd need to call in her mice for some extra help. From somewhere behind her, she could still hear Shou calling out words of praise and encouragement. And so, once again, Nazrin set out to recover the Jeweled Pagoda. Maybe, in a strange way, this was proof that things were peaceful.
Incidentally, this time the Jeweled Pagoda had ended up in Hakurei Shrine's offering box. How it got there, though, was anybody's guess.
