Kisume is a tsurube-otoshi who lives in the Underworld. She has the ability to drop onibi. Being shy by nature, she prefers confined spaces. Yet on this day, she found herself in a vast underground tunnel where rocks continued to fall from above. She and Yamame were looking to have a bit of fun with some visitors from the surface. She's usually very timid, but today her face was lit with a confident smile.
Yamame is a tsuchigumo who lives in the Underworld. She has the ability to manipulate illness. Despite such an ominous ability, her personality is bright, and she is somewhat of an idol among the dwellers of the Underworld. Today, she and Kisume welcomed visitors from the surface with a beaming smile. Playful as ever, she spun webs that spread out and crisscrossed in every direction.
Anyone passing through the tunnel where Kisume and Yamame waited had more to worry about than just their bullets. There were the rocks themselves. Boulders, large and small, tumbled down endlessly, blocking the way forward. Dodging them was no easy task. After all, rocks are heavy. Anyone who dared to continue had to be ready for what lay ahead.
Kisume and Yamame's Abilities
For anyone making their way through the Underworld, the greatest threat wasn't the falling rocks. It was Kisume and Yamame. Kisume dropped onibi from above. A single strike could set your hair ablaze. Painfully hot, nothing good about it.
Yamame, on the other hand, could manipulate infectious diseases. One shot from her, and suddenly you've got a fever so bad you can't even roll out of bed. Skip work long enough, and your paycheck's gone. Again, absolutely nothing good about it.
Kisume and Yamame Join Forces
Kisume and Yamame sometimes team up to take on intruders, and when they do, things get messy fast. Even if you manage to dodge the falling rocks or Kisume's onibi, getting caught in Yamame's threadlike bullets will slow you down with their sticky grip. Once that happens, defeat is inevitable. Surrendering might be the better option.
The funny thing is that the Underworld folk usually like to think of themselves as lone wolves, but when outsiders show up, they always seem to stick together. Maybe there really is an invisible bond between them, like the strands of a spider's web, holding them all as one.
