Before the festival begins, there are a few things I have to go over with you.

First, let's discuss the two worlds you'll be visiting.

In one, people wear fun outfits on special days, like furisode at New Year's. Sometimes, they even wear thief disguises...

It's similar to worlds you've seen before, but it's not the same. Think of it as a world running closely in parallel to them.

And the second world...

...receives lots of visitors from other worlds.

Similar to with me, you may or may not have met these visitors before.

Strange encounters await you there.
Yukari
Seeing the story unfold will teach you more about both worlds. After all, telling you everything myself would be no fun.

Next, let me introduce some important items.
Yukari
First up are the Seal Crystals you know so well.
Yukari
Then there are these large blue and large red Seal Crystals. They'll randomly but inevitably interfere with each world.
Yukari
The blue ones summon forth what you desire, and the red ones send whatever is desired to the location of the blue ones.
Yukari
I'm sure you see what sort of trouble they can cause...

However, if you can't get back to your own world, it'll be tough to enjoy the festivities.

That's why I've prepared a safe way to bring the interworld festival to an end.
Yukari
You should know, these large Seal Crystals are exceedingly rare.
Yukari
In some worlds, it's rumored that they grant wishes, and in others, that they spirit people away.
Yukari
In any case, whenever one is found, many appear seeking to claim it.
Yukari
But rumors are not to be trusted.

These crystals' true function is to serve as entrances and exits. They also have the same power as regular Seal Crystals.

If you make a wish on them or misuse them...
