So why did fairies abduct kids?

Back when human civilization was still young, it was hard for kids to grow up into adults.

A lot of kids died before they got the chance. Which meant there were a lot of grieving parents.

So they told themselves that the children had just been taken by gods, spirits, or fairies.
I guess that made it easier to cope...

Not too long ago, I fought alongside Cirno, Sunny, and the others to protect Gensokyo.

That might sound dramatic, but it's true.

All the fairies were turning into crystals. If we hadn't done something, Gensokyo probably would've been doomed.
